VIP Day Centre

VIP Day Centre is an award-winning day centre offering person-centred support for adults living with all types of dementia, sensory impairments or disabilities, as well as adults who feel lonely or socially isolated.

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy meaningful activities, make choices and spend time with others in a welcoming environment. Our team gets to know each member’s interests, abilities and routines so they can take part in the day in a way that feels right for them. Members can choose when they attend during our opening hours.

There is a wide range of activities to enjoy, including arts and crafts, music, reminiscence, games and quizzes, pool, cooking, gardening, chair-based exercise and relaxation sessions. Some members enjoy joining group activities, while others prefer a conversation, a familiar pastime or time to build friendships at their own pace. Meals and refreshments are available during the day.

Our service also offers valuable respite for family members and carers. Whether you need a few hours to rest, attend appointments or go to work, you can have peace of mind knowing your loved one is supported and has opportunities to enjoy their day.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

Please contact us to discuss your needs, arrange a visit or ask about places. You can also ask your social worker whether funding is available for day centre support.

The staffs care and attention to detail are first class. My dad is mums full time carer and he can’t rate the centre highly enough as their help is enabling him to keep her at home longer. Very happy with VIP

Excellent Carers, my husband loves it now, after a rocky start, he’s now settled. He did run off, just once, and they put measures in place straight away so it wouldn’t happen again. I feel he’s safe there with really caring staff. Highly recommend.

Mom’s visits are two afternoons a week at Amphlett Hall which includes a lovely lunch. She has Alzheimer’s and the staff are so good with her, kind, patient and caring. I was asked to fill in a few forms before she started going, about what her preferences are, what she likes doing etc. I would totally recommend this day centre, I know when I leave her for the afternoon she will be safe and happy.
